  1. I just wanted to say that this pattern is perfect!! I was looking for one that would be large enough to stand alone on a headband and either the pattern was so out there I couldn't follow it or the end result just wasn't what I wanted but this one is great.

Its well written, easy to follow & the end shape couldn't be any better! Thanks so much.

  2. TY from me too! Also looking for one, its that time of year again :)

  3. I am new to this, and when you say crochet in 1st. stitch is that first stitch from hook or the very 1st. stitch as in the first chain?

    1. So sorry, I'm just now seeing this! You'll put 2 HDC in the 1st CH you made.

  4. Thanks for this free pattern, I am going to use a larger hook to make coasters for my boss. I think it will work out just fine. Thinking of using a I or J hook.

  5. Kudos to you for sharing your skills! I'm a newbie & I've been looking for a football applique to attach to a sports blanket I'm crocheting for my 3 year old grandson. Thanks to You, one applique down & baseball, basketball, soccer ball appliques to find.
